A recent Science magazine podcast interviewed Caitlin Hicks Pries on a study she co-led with Margaret Torn on how soil might contribute to global warming (16:10 mark). Their study was also the cover of the most recent issue of the magazine and was publicized via a Lab news release.

A March 31 Targeted Oncology story noted that Mina Bissell would be receiving a lifetime achievement award from the American Association for Cancer Research.

A March 30 HPC Wire story noted the Lab’s Shyh Wang Hall has received a Gold LEED rating and quoted Sheree Swanson.

A March 28 Public Radio International story on energy savings cited a recent report led by Jeff Greenblatt and Max Wei.

A recent Symmetry magazine story on discoveries in particle physics quoted Robert Cahn.

A March 28 EE News story highlighted research on renewable energy options in Africa, a report led by Grace Wu, Ranjit Deshmukh and Duncan Callaway, who were all quoted in various stories including in Energy Live, CleanTechnica, PV Magazine, Science Times and Eurasia Review.

A March 27 Radio Free Asia story on China’s energy efficiency claims quoted David Fridley. A similar story also ran in Eurasia Review.

A March 27 Huffington Post story, based on a Lab news release, featured a new detailed map of cosmic dust developed by Edward Schlafly

A March 26 Forbes story on capturing and storing CO2 quoted Curtis Oldenburg.

A March 24 IEEE Spectrum story looked at work by Ali Javey on the development of a personal air quality monitor.
