Berkeley Lab In the News, Week of Nov. 6, 2016

Berkeley Lab “In the News” is our weekly review of Lab researchers, staff, and students who have appeared in the news media this past week. This is but a sampling of our coverage. Please note that some links may expire after time. 
A Nov. 10 Washington Post story featured work led by Trevor Keenan showing plants are slowing the growth rate of atmospheric CO2. His work was widely covered including by the BBC, The Guardian, The Economist, Christian Science Monitor, New Scientist, Gizmodo, Yahoo News, Chemistry World, The Verge, Xinhua News, and numerous others, many based on a Lab news release.

On Nov. 9, Karen Ross, Secretary, California Department of Food and Agriculture, posted a blog on her recent visit to the Lab where she met members of various divisions and visited the Advanced Light Source.

A Nov. 8 EE Times story highlighted work led by Alex Zettl on high-efficiency perovskite solar cells.

A Nov. 4 GreenWire story noted the Lab received several R&D100 awards this year. The awards were also featured on and via a Lab story as well.
