Berkeley Lab In the News, Week of July 3, 2016

Berkeley Lab “In the News” is our weekly review of Lab researchers, staff, and students who have appeared in the news media this past week. This is but a sampling of our coverage. Please note that some links may expire after time. 

A July 8 Technology Review story highlighted work led by Alex Weber-Bargioni on a new way of looking at solar cells, work first appearing in a Lab news release. IEEE Spectrum, EE Times, Computerworld, PV Magazine and many others also covered the work.

A July 8 Inside Climate News story on deaths tied to global warming quoted Michael Wehner.

On July 5 R& featured a story, based on a Lab news release, on better predicting how semiconductors behave, work led by Francesca Toma.

A July 2 San Francisco Chronicle story on the impact of utility companies after the closing of the Diablo Canyon nuclear facility quoted Chuck Goldman and was facilitated through the Public Affairs office.
