Berkeley Lab “In the News” is our weekly review of Lab researchers, staff, and students who have appeared in the news media this past week. This is but a sampling of our coverage. Please note that some links may expire after time.

A June 12 San Francisco Business Times story and video profiled the Lab’s Rosio Alvarez.

A June 12 Daily Cal photo essay looked at the return of goats to the lab’s hillsides and quoted Tom Price.

A June 11 R& feature highlighted work by Robert Kaindl into the development of an ultrafast laser source.

Another June 11 R& feature looked at work on ferroelectric materials led by Chuck Fadley.

A June 10 Philadelphia Inquirer story quoted Rob Ritchie and looked at his work showing how skin can be so tear-resistant.

A June 10 Symmetry magazine story featured work by Carl Haber and Earl Cornell, who will help recover the sounds of Native-American tribes. A video was also developed featuring their work.
