Berkeley Lab “In the News” is our weekly review of Lab researchers, staff, and students who have appeared in the news media this past week. This is but a sampling of our coverage. Please note that some links may expire after time.

A Jan. 23 Climate Wire story looked at a report led by Jeff Greenblatt showing California could meet its emission reduction goals by 2030, though reaching 2050 goals may be more challenging.

A Jan. 23 Scientific American story highlighted a Berkeley Lab report showing solar installation improves a home’s value. FastCoexist.com ran a similar story.

On Jan. 22 Forbes ran a piece written by Shashi Buluswar on efforts to alleviate poverty in developing countries, ultimately leading to a new 50 Breakthroughs study.  AfricanBrains.net also ran a story on the study.

A Jan. 21 Washingtonian magazine story noted a new exhibit at the Smithsonian which includes the audio restoration work led by Carl Haber and Earl Cornell.
