The recent opening of the General Purpose Laboratory, with help from Energy Secretary Moniz,  was covered by KCBS radio, KTVU-TV Channel 2 and the Daily Cal, which included quotes from Venkat Srinivasan and Frances Houle.

An Oct. 30 Daily Cal story noted the signing at Berkeley Lab of an MOU between UC and Mexico.

An Oct. 30 Science magazine story on dark matter quoted Yonit Hochberg.

An Oct. 30 Daily Cal story looked at continuing efforts by UC Berkeley and the lab to create a new campus in Richmond. Richmond Confidential and a second Daily Cal story also looked at those efforts.
