A Dec. 20 ANI News story highlighted research by the Lab’s Junqiao Wu on a new artificial muscle.

A Dec. 19 Astronomy story on the discovery of stellar explosions quoted the Lab’s Daniel Kasen. International Business Times, Times of India, National Monitor, and RedOrbit were some of the many others that also covered the discovery.

A Dec. 19 ANI News story featured work by the Lab’s Mina Bissell showing the possible role of sugar in the risk of breast cancer. The Times of India and RedOrbit also covered her work.

A Dec. 17 PBS Nova online story on microbes featured work by the Lab’s Janet Jansson.

A Dec. 13 New York Daily News story looked at research by the Lab’s Paul Williams showing the benefits of increased exercise to reduce breast cancer risk. The Huffington Post, Daily Cal and others also covered the work.

A Dec. 12 NBC News.com story on fracking quoted the Lab’s Jens Birkholzer.

A Nov. 26 U.S. News and World Report story covered a new report showing greater-than-expected methane in the atmosphere.
