Berkeley Lab In the News, Week of March 18, 2012

Berkeley Lab “In the News” is our weekly review of Lab researchers, staff, and students who have appeared in the news media this past week. This is but a sampling of our coverage. Please note that some links may expire after time.

A March 23 Asian Scientist story highlighted a Berkeley Lab report showing greater potential for wind energy in India. The report was led by Amol Phadke and was also covered by CleanTechnica, ScienceNewsLine, ScienceCodex, R&D magazine and others.

A March 23 Business Spectator story on the changing costs of wind power cited work by Berkeley Lab.

A March 19 R&D magazine story highlighted research by the Lab’s Margaret Taylor on the effectiveness of cap and trade programs in helping develop innovative technologies to address climate change. Science Codex also covered her work.
